I used to get into building 4x4 trucks and jeeps. Was into the Mud Bogs racing and trail riding many years.
I never build one quite that radical though...
Couldn't afford it... lol...
I did start a project where I built a 73 CJ5 that I swapped axles, did a spring over with 4" suspension and 3" custom body lift giving it about a 11-12" total lift. "Way to radical" for that short a wheel base though.
I eventually stripped it down and restored the whole Jeep from ground up, it was very clean to begin with, no rust, solid. I built a custom roll bar and sweet solid front bumper/ brush guard. I got rid of the body lift and 4" suspension but kept the spring over, realigned all the drive shaft angles and went with a custom 2" suspension, giving it enough room to still fit 35" Boggers.
Made for a nice hunting and trail rig... ended up putting 32" all terrains on it and selling it. Far as I know it is still running great to this day. The guy I sold it to loved it and drove it every day.
