    Default Financial Mess

I didn't know where else to post this.

Jim Cramer from CNBC's Mad Money says to watch out for the Dow going to 8000 if the bailout doesn't get passed. He is a very smart individual who has been in the financial world for years and predicted all this financial mess over a year ago, including the bank failures and the whole nine yards. He basically said also that WaMu (Washington Mutual) was just the first of many banks that would also fail, especially if the FDIC insurance wasn't increased. He said he doesn't know of one rich person that still has money in a savings account at any bank, that they put all their money in treasury bills as of now. If the bailout doesn't pass get ready for the next depression with unemployment near 20% if not higher.

I trust what this guy says, on the negative side anyway, and I'll link you to his website at the bottom. What sucks is my senator, Richard Shelby, the head of the congressional comittee that oversees all this, is against the bailout. I'm gonna have to get in touch with this guy and say what are you thinking? If the financial markets don't get this money to get some liquidity back, then expect more bank failures. If the banks fail, expect businesses to go bankrupt or not be able to borrow money. Then expect job losses nationwide. Great Depression II. I don't have much money in the bank as it is, but I'm going to be talking to my Dad tomorrow about all of this and see what he or I need to do. If something isn't passed by congress this next week we are headed for a MAJOR crisis.

If any of you have any inputs, suggestions, insights, etc. into this, please post.

They actually say you need to keep your money in a bank that is FDIC insured not take the money out. It was as I heard on the radio this morning, we have a new generation of ppl coming up that don't understand this kind of stuff. I believe what alot of ppl are upset about is the fact that the reason the banks are in the state they are in is because of poor decisions on the part of mortgages. What will happen if you get the government involved to many times is banks not taking responsibility for what they've done and saying that its okay because if we mess up the government is there to hold our hand. Once they do this this has to be it for awhile until they come up with some better plan on how to handle bad mortgages.

Gee, I wonder who's at fault for all this economy mess? Oh that's right, it's Bush. All we have to do is to continue the war with McCain just so more tax dollars get put to waste for no reason, because after all, we have to find those 'supposed' nuclear facilities in Iran. Just like Bush claimed there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Zionist Neocons are behind all of this and are the ones who want to bomb Iran which also control the McCain/Bush administration. Instead of bombing Iran for Israel, he should rather think about how Americans will make a living economically.

The war plays a small part in our economy. If you wanna blame anyone for the economy blame the banks. Poor decisions on their parts.

How so? It doesn't play a small part at all. There have been BILLIONS spent, the Iraq war was a huge mistake.

World War 2 cost far more then this war and its thought that WW2 was what got us out of the Great Depression. And yes it plays a small part considering its not the main reason were in the economic crisis that were in.

WWII cost far more than any other war in history. The IRAQ war doesn't even cost 1/4 the amount spent on WWII.

I admit there were some mistakes from the war, but the world is much better without Saddam in power. I would have sent the Marines to get him too. Next I would flatten IRAN, then Afghanistan, then Syria and eventually North Korea if they dont cooperate.

Lol That just goes to show how ignorant some people are about current issues whether it be politics, economics, education, foreign affairs, wars, or whatever. Did you ever take a civics or American government class? Do you know what role the president plays? Have you heard of the Senate and House of Representatives?

Last time I checked, correct me if I'm wrong, there is a little rule that we have in place i think it was written in some kind of old document that has a bunch of rights and laws and crap in it... oh yea, the constitution. The system is called Checks and Balances. Maybe you should read up on it a bit instead of being like every other illinformed.
american that wants to throw out their opinion of things they know nothing about. But, then again I guess that is one of your Rights eh?

Also be sure to read up on the Great Depression, how/why it started and also be sure to read about what got us OUT of it. WWII.

Need I say more about ignorance? They are not trying to hide their nuclear facilities. The whole world knows that they are there and infact in the 50s the western civilizations helped them with the program. Search for the Atoms of Peace program. At that time there wasn't so much tension and hate between the countries.

lol. Isreal is a very strong country and they have advanced technology along with a great military. They don't need our help to bomb Iran. Again, why don't you brush up on your history a bit before making comments.Look up the Six-Day War.

Saddam didn't really have anything to attack the US with, he had no weapons of mass destruction, Bush knew about it all along. He looked like some hobo hiding off in some hole, a dumb thing on his part. If he had the balls he would shoot himself so they wouldn't anything from him. North Korea is no longer the US's blacklist since giving up their nuclear activity.

Well, he is in a way at fault. Huge businesses get big tax breaks so less money going through the system, the higher percent of the income comes out of the middle class and lower class families, rather than bigger corporations with more money. You tell me if that's right or not.

You've quoted pretty much everything I said but not admitting to the fact that the Bush and McCain administration(s) are controlled by Zionist groups. McCain is a pro-Zionist supporter who WOULD start OVER NINE THOUSAND wars including with Iran rather than save our economy, because of the US's support for Israel, amirite? Zionists/Christian Evangelists/Israel are in control of the US gov't, since it's a war of Judaism vs. Muslims, and if it's up to them they'd bomb Iran right away. Religion has seriously turned people into crazy whack-jobs believing if they'd bomb Iran they'd end all evil and have the Second Coming of Christ, that's why I choose to stay an Atheist.

This picture explains it all where McCain is influenced of bombing Iran:

Destroying Iran is McCain's promise, along with the insane Zionist pastor, John Hagee. He claimed that Adolf Hitler was a 'hunter' sent by God's will of having Jews re-establish a state of Israel. Should we really bomb Iran to believe this guy's crap? But after all, they do control the US gov't. All a bunch of crazy nutjobs.

Xeon, I think you would be shocked if you knew exactly how much of the Bible has been scientifically and archaeologically proven true. In other words your telling me that Egypt didn't enslave the Jews all those thousands of years ago too aren't you.

BTW, the US has been pro-Zionist, whatever that means, since the founding of Israel back in 1948. Good job. Don't take Iran's lead on thinking that the Holocaust didn't happen. Do you know how many Jews live in this country, and also serve in our military? That's why we defend Israel.

Israel already has nukes, and they make a good majority of the best firearms on the planet. Just look at the Desert Eagle. Who do you think makes it? Israel. Now you don't want one do you?

Go to Google Earth and look up Iran's Bushehr Nuclear Plant that the whole freakin' world, other than you, knows about.
