black and white
i guess since i was fairly generous in loaning someone a substantial sum of gw gold pieces that the dye fairy has looked kindly upon me.
got both a black and a white dye today.
sold the black to dye trader for 6500gp and the white to a person for 8000gp.
been a good day for drops

You're lucky you got those dyes.. For Nightfall it was a double dye drop weekend, and i played almost all weekend and only got one dye... I get more dye drops when it's not a double dye drop event than when it is...

Yes boom the prices are constantly changing in the game based on demand. I still have a rune that maybe worth 500gps now but originally when i started playing it was going for more than 3 platinum.
oh yes prices definitely go up and down SIGNIFICANTLY
white the first day it came out was at one time over 31k EACH...unreal
also i noticed how high the price of crafting materials went up right after christmas
steel went up to 370 from the trader and he was buying it for 240 at the time. a week ago or so i made some people question me when i tried to sell it the other day for 200gp each. they told me it wasn't that high to buy even from the trader. i told them to check and it was 270 from the trader. i had already checked and the trader was paying me 180gp each for them and i thought 200gp was fair. i think 2 days ago it had dropped even farther and trader was only paying like 150gp for it. so it definitely fluctuates bigtime!
also i forgot i had ever had a white drop...so i guess i have i just didn't recall it. getting senile i guess or too many meds
